Picotoning is a modern Laser treatment for skin rejuvenation and the correction of Pigmentation disorders. The goal is an even skin tone, a refined skin structure, and a visibly clearer skin appearance—without extended Downtime.
Gentle stimulation of the skin can also boost collagen production, making the skin appear fresher and smoother.
Information about Picotoning
How the treatment works
Picotoning uses ultrashort laser pulses in the picosecond range. Unlike traditional Laser treatments, the energy does not primarily act through heat, but rather through a targeted mechanical reaction in the skin.
This breaks down pigment deposits into very fine particles, which the body can then gradually break down. At the same time, the Skin structure is stimulated, refining pores and making the skin appear more even overall.
The skin’s surface remains largely intact, making the treatment particularly gentle.
Possible Treatment Goals
- Reduction of sunspots and age spots
- Correction of post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (e.g., after Acne)
- More even skin tone and a radiant glow
- Refinement of enlarged pores
- Reduction of fine lines
- Improvement of mild acne scars
Indications & Target Audience
Picotoning is suitable for clients who wish to reduce pigment spots and visibly refine their skin appearance.
The treatment is particularly effective for uneven skin tone, Melasma, or the first signs of skin aging. Due to its gentle mechanism of action, Picotoning can also be a suitable option for sensitive skin and darker Skin types.
An individual consultation takes place at KALEIDOSCOP aesthetic in Zurich prior to each treatment.
