Polynucleotides in Zurich

Polynucleotides are natural molecular chains consisting of many (Greek “poly”) individual nucleotides. These nucleotides are the building blocks of our DNA and act directly at the cellular level. Preparing for the Treatment

It all begins with a personal consultation at our clinic in Zurich. During this consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us, at your own pace, what you hope to achieve for your skin. We’ll examine your skin and work with you to determine which areas are suitable for Polynucleotide treatment. Based on this assessment, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan. Of course, we’ll also discuss costs and potential Side effects, and provide you with clear information about any factors that might preclude treatment—such as pre-existing medical conditions.

Conducting the Polynucleotides Treatment

Before the treatment, we cleanse your skin and apply an anesthetic cream. It takes effect in about 20 to 30 minutes and numbs the areas to be treated. We then use very fine needles to precisely inject the active ingredient into your skin—at short intervals and only a few millimeters deep. Thanks to Anesthesia, you’ll feel little more than a slight prick. You’ll lie relaxed on the treatment table throughout the procedure. Depending on the size of the area, the entire process takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Aftercare

To finish, we soothe your skin—using either a mask or light therapy, depending on the area. Afterward, you can go straight home and resume your normal daily routine; no downtime is necessary. Minor redness or swelling at the injection sites is normal and usually disappears within one to two days. For the first few days, we recommend that you avoid tanning beds, saunas, and exercise. You should also protect your skin well from the sun, preferably with SPF 50+.
